Anchorage snow is heavy. A foot of it on the Hillside after a coastal storm is a lot more work than a foot of Fairbanks powder, and if a warm spell rolls through first, it sets up like concrete.
What to tell us
Where you are and what needs clearing: the driveway, the walk, the mailbox, the spot where the plow left its berm. Hillside and Eagle River driveways can be long and steep, so say so. One-time clears and per-storm setups are both fine to ask about.
